The Wonder Weeks
Infant Mental Health and Development Extended Program
The Wonder Weeks in-depth
Our Extended Program offers professionals, who have completed our Foundation Program, the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Infant Mental Health and Development, and take a closer look at each of the 10 Wonder Weeks. This highly interactive program features over 70 observational movies of babies, animations, practical exercises, quizzes, and helpful hints, tips, and activities to share with caregivers. The Infant Mental Health and Development Extended Program is based upon Kolb’s (1984) Experiential Learning approach, characterized by an integrated process of experience, reflection, conceptualization, and experimentation. Experiential learning has proven to be a powerful learning approach that helps professionals to develop the enhanced skills and competencies that they need for effective real-world practice.
Graduates of our Infant Mental Health and Development Extended Program are gifted exclusive use of the Graduation Badge for this program. This certifies that Graduates have attained a deeper level of knowledge and understanding of The Wonder Weeks, how babies experience the world during each leap, and how each Wonder Week affects Infant Mental Health and Development. Graduates are welcomed to display this badge on their professional portfolio, curriculum vitae, business cards, website, flyers, social media pages, and any other medium that showcases their professional qualifications.
We hope that you will enjoy your learning journey and look forward to welcoming you as an Extended Program Graduate of The Wonder Weeks Academy.
